Webinars: "Introduction & Lighting Control Consideration"
The LEED Building Standard helps buildings focus on efficiency and raises the bar on building standards to address energy, water conservation, site, material selection, daylighting and waste reduction. Originally launched in 2000, LEED is the world’s leading Green building project and performance management system, delivering a solid framework for design, construction, operation, and maintenance. With Green House gas emissions being close to 51 billion tons per year being emitted into the atmosphere, LEED helps buildings reduce GHG/ carbon emissions. Lighting and lighting controls play a significant role in the energy usage of a typical building. This course will investigate Energy code requirements as well as other strategies to help reduce our consumption of fossil-based fuels.
